The geography that dealt with The Panic of 1837 shaped the start, process, and outcomes of the economic crisis. Since the Panic of 1837 was a globally involved event, the United States' involvement with this economic crisis was directly impacted by the involvement of other countries. The United States were necessarily dependent on this trade, as it was a large part of their economy, and the geography that led to this trade was also quite important.
